Chloé Galibert-Laîné (b. 1992, Senlis, France) lives and works in Paris, France. She is a researcher and filmmaker currently preparing a research-creation PhD at the Ecole normale supérieure de Paris (SACRe – PSL University). Her films are regularly presented and awarded at international art and film festivals, such as IFF Rotterdam, Rotterdam, Netherlands; Ars Electronica Festival, Linz, Austria; IMPAKT festival, Utrecht, Netherlands; London’s Essay Film Festival, London, UK; FIDMarseille, Marseille, France; True/False Festival, Columbia, United States; transmediale, Berlin, Germany; Images Festival, Toronto, Canada and EMAF, Osnabrück, Germany
Galibert-Laîné’s work takes different forms, including texts, films, video installations and live performances. She explores the intersections between cinema and online media, with a particular interest in questions relating to modes of spectatorship, gestures of appropriation and mediated memory.
